Excellant news.
I also read Norwich are interested in Steve Howard. I'll pay for a taxi for him.

When i say quality player i really mean ''has the potential to be an England international if he keeps his feet on the ground, but has a lot to prove especially as his career is at a pivotal point and age where he games, consistency, and the right nurturing and coaching''

Thats a bit harsh, i mean paying is not quite up there with pushing, but its still a generous offer...

Spurs could potentially ship out a whole XI 1st team players, surely no matter how good the signings it will be tough with so many different faces
Robinson
Chimbonda
Dawson
Gardener
Kaboul
Malbranque
Boateng
Ghaly
Tainio
Keane
Bertatov

Only the two strikers and Steed are 1st team regulars and Steed was playing oop and we've replaced him with Modric.
If
Berbatov goes as well, I'm pretty sure that we will have a decent replacement in the wings (Villa, Eto'o, Pavlyuchenko).
As for Keane, I'm not too fussed. Anything over £10million for him is good business for Spurs and Bent is a ready replacement.

Surely Villa wouldn't go to Spurs, if he was moving to England it would surely only be to one of the big 4.

I dont think you can replace a player like Keane for under £10m in today's game. £18 mil is too high. I think £13-14 mil is a fair price.

Very true - however Ramos is way too good not to have replacements lined up.

agreed but from where ... not from here, players from other countries need time to adjust to our game ... Bent aside actually included), we are going to struggle up front early season.
