We always going bust here?

PLO $1/$2 I-poker.

We have been playing SLAG.  But only ever getting to show down with big hands and passing shit to any resistance.  We have taken a few buy-ins from a number of players and we have around $700 after loosing a few decent pots to hero calling players.

We have KKQT ds flop comes down AKJ rainbow.  We're up against what we assume to be a fishy player who has been raising any pot we havent been involved in.  Sp with our hand on the button and our mate on BB we flat hoping for a raise.  Dually, our man pots and we pot behind he calls.  He half pots the flop. we call turn is a J he checks we lead for 1/4 the pot he pots it we snap call and its all in.  He has AA24 rivers a 5 he has nut house but given the way the hand plays are we always going busto here?Huh?

Because he's fishy and we can try to get all the money in now. He's either there or thereabouts or air with this flop.
It depends how deep he is i suppose but there is at least $40 in preflop then he half pots it.If he's playing $300 more then i want to get more in on the flop.
I'm quite happy to be put right though

You've got the stone cold nuts on a flop that isn't dangerous , what would the flop check raise say to him other then "I'm ahead mate better fold now?" Flatcalling his flop bet and checking the turn to him means he can bluff on the turn and keeps his weaker hand in.

we're on the button and we've been playing SLAG.
Stack size for villain would be helpful.

why would you raise on the flop if he has a 500 stack?

Raising the flop wasn't an option.  I want to give him the opportunity to get all his stack in.

Im pretty sure he would have - say he's flopped the nuts as well with no redraw- he can either get $500 in on the flop when u raise or maybe check pass the turn if it pairs up.
OP has been playing super lag so why should this reraise on the flop against a weak lead be the nuts? Op says villain is fishy and got lucky to get to $500 to lets give him opportunity to get daft. much less cash and its an obvious call on the flop

we're missing some of the action here for OP to make sense

limp from button bb pots hero repots and a call
so even if we allow for 2 limpers and sb completing there is only $60 max  in pre
flop action is half pot and a call so $120
turn goes check quarter pot pot and that takes villain allin?  so villain has <$180 left on turn and has only put $60 max in before this?
how have we got $500 each in given this action?
if there were no limpers it makes even less sense
