Firstly, I know I should buy in for the full $50.  I'm trying to play lots of tables and don't have the money in my Stars account to 9 table at NL50.  Secondly, I've posted in Learning Centre so you have to be nice to me and not just call me a donkey Wink

Regardless, it's been a bad night, how should I have played these please

Here's the costly hands from me today.  I obv played some bad, but comments welcomed, I may learn to lose less next time.

We'll start with a positive

Shesh, there's a lot of them Sad

In 8, I sort of tilt shoved.  The hands are pretty much in the order they happened.

1. Standard

2. Standard

3. Bigger 3 bet to about 6, once he 4 bets it a fold or shove, readless i get them in. Calling is not really an option here imo.

4. I would 3 bet here, as played i don't use this line much, i don't hate it though.

5. Standard

6. Standard

7. Bigger 3 bet pre and then wow coooooollllllllerrrrrr.

8. With you stack here, shoving pre is +ev so i would do that. Deffo get it in on the flop.

Basically you had a stinker luckwise and played pretty good imo.

Hand 5 sticks out. Deffo shutdown on the turn, completes everything.

Hand 8 is  clear 3et pre to try and get it in.

Basically, dont lay full ring, it will drive you utterly crazy and is boring as hell. Oh, and those nights happen, a lot.

In hand 8, am I looking to get it all in preflop even with Jacks?    I do need to be more positive preflop.  Am I looking to get it in with AK and JJ+ in these situations - I mean, shoving for the 3 bet is a bit ott, but if I 3 bet and someone shoves, what range are you calling with?  Obv AA and KK are a given, but how low does the range go?

£3.50 on  it's way!

Thanks guys, good to know I didn't get things that wrong.    Will try 6 max tonight instead to see how it goes.  I don't mind the full ring playing 9 at a time.

Are you playing scared at all?

No not scared, I just don't have the roll on Stars to play NL50.  I'm certainly not playing out of where I feel comfortable.

I know the level is comfortable for you, but you might be avoiding situations where you could be getting your money in as a 55% favourite because you don't have enough to reload (in that account, although you've got it elsewhere).  I know, I've done it before.
