My understanding is that this not nipping, but staking.
mine too. I would never play poker on 'borrowed' money, which is pretty much why I've posted this thread because I want to play, but don't want to spend more than i can comfortably afford or borrow the cash from where/whoever. I've not approached anyone directly, just explained the situation here and invited anyone who wants to take a punt with the chance of turning a few quid in to something a bit more to contact me. If that's nipping, then guilty as charged I guess, but it's not my understanding of the term. |

Define nipping? nipping is borrowing money from a person or group of people promising them you will pay it back at £1 for £1 what claire has asked for is a stake you buy 10% of her for £35 if she loses you get nothing if she wins you get 10% of what she wins |
