of the 1,190,000 chips in play ... 250k of them are sat in front of Monkey Matt

He has so many chips that they've decided to change the smaller denomination chips for larger ones.  Matt 'Jamie Gold' Doyle complained that it doesn't look as impressive any more.

Impressive? Has he seen himself in that hat?

Chris Bruce raises to 8,000 and John Cann re-raises all-in to 25K.

Chris thinks it over, and then calls.  He has John comfortably covered.

Chris
John

three diamonds

John doubles up to over 50K

There'll be a break at the end of this level and we'll get detailed chip counts then.  In the meantime, if there's anyone in particular you want to know about - just give us a shout.

Monkey matt is using his chips as the weapon that they are ... re popping any raise and every limp to full effect, Marcus Bebb Jones is playing well though and i expect fireworks soon enough.

Danny Toffel, Alwyn Powell and Neil Rutter see a flop cheaply.

two spades

Danny is first to act and bets 5K.

Alwyn, thinks for just a few seconds before folding.

Neil think a little longer before turning over the Two Diamonds.

Danny takes in the pot and shows .

The larger stacks are quietly stealing here and there whilst the shorter stacks who can't afford to make a wrong step are waiting for a position to get their chips in the middle.

I doubt they'll allow fireworks in here - but you never know.

Rain stops play at Wimbledon.  We don't have such problems here due to the presence of a roof.

Another re-raise all-in takes down a non-insignificant pot, this time for Brian Reid

Marcus Bebb-Jones takes a 35K pot down against Matt Doyle on a

board

Matt's 12K bet on the river was called by Marcus whose was miles ahead of Matt's

Matt's still smiling though
