Just had a text from IFM ..



"My computer has viruses on it. Must be how those pm's were sent. I'll be offline till i fix it but could you update the topic because emails were sent too about dating and swingers sites i'm told.
These probably link to viruses so anyone should delete any emails from me without opening them.

Wierd.
I can only say sorry, the pm's came from my account and from my IP address but i have no idea how.
At first i thought someone hacked my account but that doesn't make sense so then i'm thinking someone hacked my comp, something that works along the lines of remote desktop but i have run AVG, Adaware, Spyware doctor all full scans but nothing came up apart from a few tracking cookies.

Meanwhile i'm getting odd calls and emails from people about emails sent from my hotmail about swinging clubs/sex sites, again no evidence of this here.

Anyway i have stayed offline to do the scans, now i've reconnected to run online scans.
I have ghostwall, windows firewall and my routers firewall but my daughter uses one lappy for msn and i'm thinking she opened something she shouldn't but i can't find it.

Just so you know i had been in all night, sober!
I wasn't on the computers but xbox and the first i knew was Kev and Iron on msn (xbox connects to msn) going barmy at me!
The pm's seem indescriminate as a few mods were hit plus civilians, added to that there is no search facility it seems like someone just clicked on random names.
