Had a bit of good news today as I have won first prize in a raffle.
I have won an all expenses paid trip for a week to Beijing, flights, 5 star hotel inc meals, tickets for the opening ceremony as well as various tickets to sporting events while I am out there and guided tours of the Great wall etc.
As some of you might remember I had to cancel a trip to Beijing in the past due to my wife needing an urgent operation on her back. Thankfully she is ok now and is looking forward to this trip.
I guess you could say I am rather happy.

Yes. one of the guys at work asked if I had bought tickets and I said I hadn't as if I won I didn't have enough holidays available to take it. He pointed out that as well as the prize you get a week of work as well, so i thought why not. He is now as as sick as a parrot, but i did say I would buy him a T Shirt.
