If there are no trees or lakes I'm in.

There are no water hazards on the course at Wollaton but there are some trees.

We may spot some birds then.

Will ask the experts about official handicaps etc. Another obstacle (can't spell it soz!) are the deer  - big hairy animals who don't appreciate a small white ball hurtling towards them at the speed of sound. Said deer have been known to charge at mere humans during rutting season!

Count me in for the next one by which time I will

a) have returned from my honeymoon

and

b) got my amateur status back.

I don't know which is more exciting - getting 'help' again on a golf course or returning to the mundanity of married life...

Wollaton Park is great, just watch out for the deer. Have fun all.

No official handicaps required. My 'expert' who is helping me organise this says he will sort these out, he will limit the amount of shots the player is allowed.

I've played here - definately not a place for people scared of large animals!! Think there is one of two lakes, I'll see if I can find my stroke saver...

Surely nobody is likely to cheat in what is supposed to be a fun competition? We're not talking Phil Ivey / Ram Vaswani style stakes lol Smiley

p.s. my handicap is 36+
