A doctor?
A police officer?

Insurance compay?

Only tricky one for me is the last one, other one's i just tell them poker player.

For insurance company i go with retired.

I normally try to avoid the question and then tell them I play poker. I then insta regret it, as I realise im going to be stuck in a crap conversation for the next 5 minutes.

Not a good idea.  We had a similar thread to this one before.  2 professional poker players who claimed to be "retired" had their car insurance cancelled, good job they hadn't made a claim or it could have been null and void.

I claim retired- I only play poker recreationally as its not classed as a proffesion in this country (ie its not taxable). Any insurance company who tried to void a policy would be on very sticky ground.
