When I watched that part of it I distinctly remember thinking, "that's good graphics".

I can't remember exactly what it was, but there was one specific point in them which made me think they couldn't be a live shot.

it was as they panned through the city showing the various arenas IIRC. fireworks going up from each arena. def didn't ever give the impression of being an actual display

Was just reading the same thing myself, I have to say I'm quite disappointed that they were fake.

On the plus side, we can cut our opening budget now (what we have of it...) and just use a load of CGI  Wink

Could they CGI Rebbeca Adlington good looking?

Quote
The ceremony has also been strongly criticised by architect Ai Weiwei, who helped design the Bird's Nest stadium.

Writing on his blog, Mr Ai described the ceremony as "a recycling of the rubbish of fake classical culture tradition; a sacrilegious visual garbage dump and an insult to the spirit of liberty; low class sound play that's just noise pollution".

I guess he wasn't too keen on it then?

Nope, he was Scottish.

A British competitor wouldn't have been so tight and would have bought another oar to go faster. Smiley

No  I think they heard about Kevs criticism and realised they had to buck their ideas up.

Any medals we get in swimming now we can thank Kev for.

Swimming, Poker what else is kev going to tell people they aren't doing their best in?

I posted about the swimming because i care ... I posted about your donk off in the GUKPT because I care, i want you to fkin win one of these !!

Well don't criticise things you don't understand!!

Listen, if Lucy Rokach had made the play you did at the weekend, you would have been one of the first in line with the sarcastic comment... FACT !

Lucy would have got 85BB in on day 1 with K9 suited

Seeing as you explained the way the hand played off forum, I understand the way you played it now.  It was a hell of a lot different to the way it was reported.

Can't believe you backed down! I personally think Flushy did a Mike Matusow blowup and if he'd have had a PRO railer like Kev by his side then the mistake would've never been made... P.S I fold A3, but I am a Mug!

Gritty is the best word to describe those two.  Love to see them win a gold after their silver last time.

Equestrian question: Are the horses born & breed in the country they are competing for?
