LMAO from the bbc site

1034: The Chinese lady sat behind the officials knows about the reversal - she's got her hands over her face and looks like she's just discovered her husband in bed with Usain Bolt - but there hasn't been an announcement in Mandarin yet, and I'd imagine the news will go down like Jim Davidson at the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.

Ok, so it's only synchonised swimming.

But Perfect scores is still pretty good.

Quote
Bit of news from the Water Cube - Japanese synchronised swimmer Hiromi Kobayashi had to be rescued by two Chinese lifeguards after finishing her free routine. Kobayashi suffered breathing difficulties, but has since recovered and is recuperating well, according to a Japanese Olympic team spokesman. Well, if you will mince about under water with pegs on your nose...

And they still came 4th? missed this one

need a new system, there must be an easy way to do the changeovers, whats wrong with using technology to activate the changes .... relay medals men shit if no other teams make it round.
good idea kev why dont they do the swimming without getting wet and do the boxing without punching each other.  batton changing is a huge part of the relay and teams should be able to do it after training

Maybe they should have a new event , i.e A baton handing over event , therefore the best team will get their gold , and then the Relay race will be one by the actual fastest team , not the best  team at getting the baton around

Our cyclists - brilliant.

Swimming - fantasting

Rowing - unbelievable

Sailing - wonderful.

But on the track we've missed time and again.  Not necessarily through lack of talent, but through bad tactics, and poor preparation.

Strange how one part of the same team hasn't managed the same standards.

Still.....musn't grumble
