Surely some decent sports questions, and not american sports either...

Include topics that are a test of knowledge rather than speed reading and better mouses.
I'd like to be more vague but ...

Today I got my favourite question yet even though it destroyed my time because I was too busy laughing:

"Broadway has attracted Charles' interest, especially a book about a citrus that made good on the stage. Which one did he find?"

I'll give the answer tomorrow for anyone who didn't get this question today. It's probably just me that spent a minute looking for a "serious" answer and wondering who Charles is.

The answer is:

B:- A Chorus Lime.

Probably only appeals to me and 10 year olds but it made me laugh.

I got that one too but didn't even notice the pun, just that the fruits in the other 3 answers weren't citrus

Too smart for me. I stared at it for ages. I was wondering if there was a "Jack Lemon Story".

http://news.bbc.co.uk/today/hi/today/newsid_7699000/7699177.stm
2/5 if anyone gets no.5 right you should have a name change to Little Man Tate, even with a pen and paper it would take me ages to work this out and that is with the solution.

Little Man Tate it is, then. Strictly speaking the question about the 75 years is more general knowledge than maths. It's pretty easy to work out 5 once you realize what the sequence is.

The motorbike question on the maths quiz was stupid - bet he didn't get the asking price.

I get back from hols to find myself doing a "Horror or Poker" round that is 10 questions on mostly obscure horror films. Different, I must say Smiley. 6/10 is winning at the mo tho Smiley.

I lol'd Smiley.

But if by prep school you mean a fee paying school, then yes, funnily enough. Where alongside Latin, Greek, Fagging and Philosophy, I also had 2 lessons per week on 1980s horror films.
