me and my mate have decided to have a small wager the details are as follows

both of us must;

Complete a CD of 12 track from the 1980's

have no more than one artist/group on any song

have a song from each year of the 80's

we will hand the cd's out to randoms and ask to jusge the best cd (11 cd's each)


i have

1) 1980- brass in pocket- the pretenders (by a nose from blondie, call me)


i need help finding the year for these tracks which i will include


specials - message to you rudy
cure     - inbetween days
Chris rea  - on the beach
Paul young - stay for good


any other tips will be welcomed. cheers rick

wanna stick a stone roses and jam number in there too, plus a luther vandross for a bit of smooth, maybe the real thing or summat

sorry suz, i think our ideas of good 80's music differs a little, im after less comercial tracks.

Smiths have gotta be in there. still thinking, p.s cherry o baby was btter than red red wine imo

You'll probably put together a stonking CD, but if 11 randoms are judging, I fear their tastes will be for the more commercial tunes that you're trying to avoid. Best CD might lose the bet.
