Just watched The Raid, one of the most unique and entertaining action movies I've ever seen 10/10
+1. just when you think a fight scene is going to end you get another 15mins of epic fighting. Literally non stop action. Loved it! I loved how they broke the convention of "the good guy is the one who has to take on multiple opponents" in the final fight scenes. |

Watched a history of violence and felt absolutely nothing for any of the characters, the plot or anything. Even the violence wast well done, some of it is borderline comedy it looks so fake! 3/10

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0488120/Fracture, this is a brilliantly made and clever film, and hopkins is world class. I can somehow describe it as a sinister sleuth (1972) where two very different but brilliant minds play a game of cat and mouse played out on the backdrop of a murder. 9/10

Wow, I thought Avengers Assemble was terrible. Everybody I talk to says it's a great movie but it really isn't. Not my genre so a bit biased but these movies tend to be all about the visuals yet the only visual that really blew me away was Scarlet Johansson's ass. I didn't really get any of it. Eg Black Widow runs for her life when Banner turns into Hulk because he is a crazy beast who wants to rip her to pieces. One minute later when the aliens come to town they are like high-fiving each other and fighting together. The Thor character seemed ridic to me like some kinda buffount Flash Gordon. And where the hell was Spiderman?

Watched Prometheus on bluray dload...
thought it was really good despite some criticism on here....... a few holes in the plot but some good alien explanations
but i like the genre so was always virtually a thumbs up from me...

Battleship
has the most tenuous film tie in ever... the game battleships by Hasbro lol...
However it stands alone as a decent actioneer as superpowerful alien ships land in the sea off Hawaii and are decidedly unfriendly. All that stands in their way is an all American Gung ho jock and an ageing battleship that despite being in mothballs for decades is battle ready and carrying live ammo..lol
Get your suspension of disbelief hat firmly on and enjoy the cgi..big bang fueled romp
