Looper - I know Blondes has a varied view on movies and Looper won't be to everyones taste.  Saying that my film of the year.

Also if you've seen the Raid then no need to see Dredd, as they have exactly the same plot.

^^^^^^^^^^^
Spoiler alert Sad

Which part?  The Raid and Dredd?  Just a warning not to pay to watch the same movie twice, if you've seen neither then what spoiler?

I've seen The Raid and was looking forward to seeing Dredd. I didn't know it was the same plot until now. Would still have liked not to know even if you've just saved me a tenner.

Apologies.  Best intentions honest.  At this point I'd recommend spending your tenner on seeing Looper instead Smiley

Moonrise Kingdom - Well received by critics with ensemble cast including Bruce Willis, Bill Murray & Harvey Keitel. Despite some terrific acting and hilarious moments I didn't quite get the film overall. A little bit arty farty to be truly satisfying imo 6/10

The film that followed 'city of god' was pretty good too. I wouldn't really call it a sequel, it's called 'city of men'.

Hugely underrated film IMO. Wasn't at the time but definitely forgotten about recently.

Not a thought-provoking film but a straightforward story, a surprisingly decent script and one of the greatest soundtracks ever written.
