I've no time for internet forum snobbery but is it possible to impose some sort of thread penalty/ban for anyone that lists Transformers and Transformers 2 in his top three movies ever?

both Trans 1 and Trans 2 are in my top three right now!

neither of them is even the best transformers movie ever. the original one from the mid 80s completely pwns both

Bollox!

The 80s had nowhere near the amazing special effects or camera tricks that the 21st century has. not to mention one of the most important factors in a great movie, the sound effects!!

Flash Forward Channel 5   ( by the makers of lost )

When the world falls asleep for 137 seconds, everyone has a vision of 6 months into the future, this is the flash forward.

Episode 3 tonight built up to the conclusion it was all due to Crows.

I knew they were clever birds

been watching this so far. its pretty decent, beginnig to open up a bit now.

just downloaded Entourage season 1, going to bash through that while downloading season 2

also just managed to watch Transformers 2 last night, and it was one of the best films ive ever seen, truely amazing!

Dear Mr McGilp

Even by the exalted standards of this forum at times, your post represents the most ridiculous in its storied annals.

Transformers? top three?

just had me chuckling all night whenever I have thought of these posts, thanks

Love

Sir Steve Redgrave-Radciffe-Wilkinson

Dear Mr Prew

Each to their own mate, im very proud to chart these as high as 2 and 3.

[X] Im surprised ive not been slaughtered for having my Fav film of all time as Bad Boys, that usually gets a few strange looks

I don't ever want to be in the mental state of thinking transformers 1 / 2 + badboys constitute good films.

I have highlighted above all the movies on your list that i have already seen.

Im a huge movie fan and watch more movies than most people on here, Bad Boys will always be my Fav movie of all time, but at the moment Trans 1 and 2 are 2nd and 3rd, this is only for this week tho, and next week will defo have a new 2nd and 3rd. Its just preference at that time.

You can't deny Trans 1 and 2 are absolutely amazing and will be in the top 10 of all time tho

Transformers 1 and 2 will be long forgotten in 10 years, as the storyline is nil points, and the characters are non existent, it stood out because of the brilliant effects, but these will be the norm for direct to Dvd films as these get cheaper to produce. Take Jaws for example, yeah the shark looks fake now, but it has three brilliant central characters and a great script, so 35 years later it is regarded as a classic and enjoyed by new generations...

Transformers will probably be forgotten in 10 years yes, but not by me, Opinions belong to everyone, and its my opinion that they are top 10 of all time.

Or Aliens, Or BladeRunner

Not a great film unless the script and screenplay matches the effects. In Transformers it's nowhere near

Here's 200 to go at for starters. Don't see transformers anywhere lol

Trans 1 is average, some novelty effect around the special effects

Trans 2 is poor

I've never got on much with Sci-Fi films (in fact I rarely watch any), but on that 200 list, Blade Runner is classic, & probably makes my top 100.
