Dave I have had in my mind that you would have loved 2012, and possibly it was a top five all time for you? Wooden acting, terrible script, but great effects. Just up your alley if the Tranny films are anything to go by.

Please confirm?

Watched Oldboy last night - anyone else seen this flick?

My dad told me to watch this a few weeks back it was on Film4, Unreal mate, WTF did you see the bit with the Octopus!!!

Yeah ridic. It took 4 Octopii to film it and as a devout buddhist the lead had to pray for every one before the next shot. Unreal scene. Loved the corridor too.

Yeah that was amazing/surreal/funny as fuck! never seen anything like this film before

Defo a must see film, although you must be VERY VERY open minded before you sit down lol

Nail on head. Do not watch if you are squeamish.

There is no denying i love big blockbuster CGI films, and loads of others do too. I haven't seen it yet, but really looking forward to it. As long as John Cusack is good ill be happy, one of my fav Actors since Grosse Point Blank, and Jeremy Piven too since that movie.

I do also like Clean crisp story lines/acting too you know.

If you'd like to take this further, we can MSN  scared

Just seen City of Men which is the sequel to the amazing City of God (highest rated foreign language film according to IMDB) and was utterly disappointed.

Avoid.

Scottish Dave is that surface underneath the window, perpendicular to the wall, where people put flowers and candles and dancing santas and stuff.

City of God - Awesome - definitely in my top 10 now.

City of Men - Weak. Would have had a better memory of City of God without seeing this.

godfather (obv)
aliens

Need Scottish Dave back plz mods

Nah...not having that... not about the godfather.... horses head will be addressed to ' bottom of tanks bed, do not wake..'

Quoted films are well good, the Godfather would make my top 10 in fact. The intended meaning of my post was that if you like those films I can no longer rely on reading your film selections and going the opposite way (as per the original gag) hence needing Scottish Dave back. (plz mods!)

[X] not knowing WhoIdolizing Scottish Dave wasand his Movie taste helped

Law Abiding Citizen.

Gerard Butler fine. Physique to match my own. Eric Marlon Bishop good as usual. Plot fairy nuff. All in all, all as it should be. Just all been done before imo.

5/10 (6/10 had they put the required hyphen in the title).

I love a decent horror film, but Paranormal Activity was a massive letdown after all the hype, well done on the hype machine behind it as without it this film would be barely mentioned. Very slow and dull for most, with the only slight scare been the odd loud noise on the soundtrack...

4/10

No its not a true story, just a rip of The Blair Witch movie/marketing/hype...

Has anyone seen A Serious Man? I love the Coen brothers, and thought Burn After Reading was one of the best films of last year, and No Country For Old Men one of the best the year before that. But, I'm not sure what to make of this, which I think means I didn't enjoy it. I guess I just didn't understand it, or 'get' it.
