I quite liked both endings, solely because they resisted the urge to "go Hollywood"/"be feelgood" and kept faith with the source material.

It wasn't razzamatazz, but it worked imo

Well it completed the picture of a wholly unlikeable man consumed by his own demons didn't it?

As I say, I didn't mind it

yes it did but that doesnt excuse it making no sense to the plot and ruining a decent film up until then, there were other ways to show his deconstruction from within whilst maintaining plot consistency imo, that was just weird.

Ok,

I saw Sherlock Holmes tonight with Robert Downey Jr, and Jude Law as Watson

Made by Guy Ritchie,  its moves quickly from fight scene to fight scene with great humour in a Victorian style setting .

Produced by Joel Silver, its slick funny and keeps you guessing how they did it.

A good film for a Saturday night out,

but don't watch the trailer it gives too much away

Finally watched Transformers 2.

Whilst not raving quite as highly as Scottish Dave it wasn't as bad as some have said.

I knew what to expect and got exactly that. Loads of CGI, a few one liners and Megan Fox in skimpy clothes.

Perfect easy viewing and no wonder it made so much money.

I'm probably a bit late with this as well. I'm a DVD man. I don't go to the cinema and I don't illegally download so I'm miles behind everyone else.

Changling.........

Started off absolutely crap. One of the most boring films I've ever seen.

Fortunately it got much better and I actually really enjoyed it.

Was it a true story? It had the look of one.
