WOW at making a comparison between Salt and Bourne trilogy,I thought the film was very mediocre at best, typical CIA type action film with nothing new added in anyway 5/10 from me.

I said it is that "type" of film..ie in that genre.

Of course its not a patch on Bourne, but that's what it is aiming for

Just mentioning both in the same sentence is shocking.Shouldn't bother making another one imo.

Salt. Meh.

Angelina good as always but all pretty tired imo. Pick your poison between this and Knight And Day, and I'd go with the latter every time.

Surrended last friday and went to see Karate Kid..was plied with fajitas first so not all bad... nachos first and i was so stuffed had to undo my trousers during the film ...lol...bit embarrassing when the lights go up and im zipping myself up..

To be fair not a bad evenings viewing...managed not to get too schmaltzy....young Jaden Smith obv a talented young man and the fight sequences are pretty good especially when you consider its amongst a bunch of adolescents..

Jackie Chan obv steals the show... displays his versatility well and is perfect for the role. Still has the moves, but was a lttle disappointed he didnt get it on with bad guy teacher at the end...but hey ho...

Little confused that they were doing kung fu but the title has karate in it as they are two very different disciplines..suppose you have to give a little to be able to ride on the back of  the franchise name.

overall a 6/10 Def worth a hey ya ! one night

So, in summary, you had your zip open waiting for Jackie Chan to get it on with the bad guy? Good job they turned the lights on imo

I really wanted to dislike The Last Air Bender but it was better than average, although it could have been fantastic with a half-decent script and without a couple of the weaker actors (Nicola Peltz as Katara had one expression the whole movie, extreme concern, and Aasif Mandvi, who was just plain bad).
Expectations were nil after that shambles The Happening and the first half-hour or so was a struggle. M.Night should stick to directing and let someone else do the writing. Some of it is so cliched it hurt and there were a couple of lines like 'he was a fantastic bender' to keep the kids chuckling away.
But the performance of the main character gets better as it goes on and the fight scenes were quality. It's a bit like Star Wars meets Monkey meets Starship Troopers meets Kill Bill.

SALT

Very engaging film, a Bourne trilogy type spy thriller. Angelina Jolie, in my opinion, is box office in everything she does. Simply superb. The film itself has plot twists that you can see from miles off and the script is ludicrous in places. However for a fast paced action film, top marks.

I think Angie is an annoying parasite, im beginning to really hate her film's purely cos she is in them, the woman just has no class!

Adventureland?

Errr ?

?

Awful, awful, awful pile of shite.
Not sure why I like Michael Cera, as he always just seems to play himself, same as Ed Norton.
But I sure won't be off to see Scott Pilgrim Vs The World next week.
Superbad, Paper Heart and Juno have obv left their mark for some reason.
