Coming to the party a little late, so don't know if 'Starred Up' has been mentioned?  Decent British prison film that was very enjoyable, even if the ending was a little weak.

Downloaded a fair few films recently, and here's a summary:

Good:
Starred Up (see above)
Europa Report (enjoyable documentary-style sci-fi film)
Gone Girl (well-acted, decent enough plot)
Snowpiercer (booder recommended film - really enjoyed it)
Maze Runner (similar to the Hunger Games, and enjoyable enough)
Divergent (fun film)
Grand Budapest Hotel (didn't think I'd like it, but very well acted and beautifully shot)
Ender's Game (decent enough sci-fi film)

Averag/Bad
Haywire (Female MMA star in a not very gripping Bourne-style flick)

Worse than Bad:
Lucy (just daft, awful, disjointed and not rescued by the presence of Johansson or Freeman)

Saw Gone Girl and thought it was really good. A good 8 1/2 for me and Pike is fantastic.

The Grand Budapest Hotel

Cracking lighthearted story about a concierge, played by Ralph Fiennes, who gets framed for murder. Great story, great array of named actors in cameo roles and well worth a look. 8/10

Abs loved this.

Foxcatcher

Slow burner and maybe a tad long at 2hours 14.. but had enough to keep me watching.. was worth it based on a true story.

Steve Carrell was unrecognisable

7/10

I really enjoyed it, and thought Ruffalo was excellent, too.

I thought this was much better than Birdbath, which cleaned up at the oscars...

Do not often come to this thread so sorry if it's been mentioned before but "Draft Day" Kevin Costner showing us how a movie should never have been made. Saw it last night and the only reason I watched it to the end was to make sure i was right about what was going to happen, which I'd worked out within the first 15 minutes. Be interested to hear what the NFL guys thought of it. Tighty?

I've kept to a policy of never watching anything with Kevin Costner in and my life is better for it
