Oh the non-stop craziness...

Three-way all-in between Matthew Wadham, the short-stack Daniel Ward in the small blind and Lee Rawson in the big blind.

Wadham:

Ward:

Lee Rawson:

Two Diamonds

Ward wins the 30k or so main pot and Rawson takes home the much larger sidepot while Wadham is left with just a bowl of rice.

----

Wadham shoves the very next hand and Mickey Wernick calls in the big blind without looking, Wadham shows , Wernick flips Two Clubs but the board favours the short stack coming and Wadham doubles up his meagre amount of chips.

----

Next hand it's passed to Tom Grundy who moves all-in from midposition. Stuart Langford moves all-in behind him and everyone else runs for cover.

Langford:

Grundy: Errr,

("Awww, don't do it" says Stuart) Two Clubs .

Grundy has Langford covered meaning Stuart Langford is out in 9th place winning £696.

In not massively surprising style, Dnaiel Ward moved in before he got eaten by the blinds, and it couldn't have been much worse for him.

Ward:
Matthew Wadham:

Board:

Thus Daniel Ward is OUT in 8th place winning £870.

Tom Grundy not only runs good, he flips good too. He moved in from the button and Lee Rawson moved in from the small blind with Mickey Wernick folding the big blind.

Grundy:

Rawson:

Rawson has Grundy covered by literally five or six thousand and is all in the next hand which Grundy raises and Michael Humphries calls from the big blind.

They check the two hearts board where Grundy announces "Queen high" and Humphries shows three clubs three diamonds for the side pot.

Lee Rawson, having called all-in blind, flips first the then.... so Humphries takes the main pot also.

Lee Rawson is out in 7th place winning £1,218.

Michael-On-Michael Action!!!

Mickey makes up the blind, and Michael Humphries checks. They see a two spades flop, which Mickey checks. Humphries bets 16k, and after some consideration, Mickey folds, showing A-J which he had presumably intended to play sneakily. Humphries shows two hearts.

Cancelliere makes it 22k utg and Humphries calls on the button. Big blind Tony Salmon, however, spoils the party and goes all in for 140k total. After some dwellage, Cancelliere folds, and so too does Humphries, showing A-J.

Mr Salmon, we hope rather happier on the inside:

Btw NAS members, I have been doing my best, but I'm afraid that when I asked to take this lovely valet's photo, a gentleman insisted on muscling in on the photo with her. Emergency exit sign above his head purely coincidental.

Btw is anyone else loving the fact that the valets have to wear the legend "DEEPSTACK" across their bosoms?

Mickey Wernick raises to 20k from the small blind and Michael Humphries who likes to play flops, calls from the big blind.

Check check.

Mickey bets 40k and Michael folds.

---

Next hand and Michael limps in against the shortest remaining stack Matthew Wadham who checks his option.

They see a flop of two spades which Michael check/calls a bet of 10k before leading out for 15k on the turn. Matthew moves all-in over the top for an extra 39,100 and the Scouser looks distinctly unimpressed by this turn of events, he folds and Wadham is back over 100k.

I believe that's the 'slightly' boisterous Con Cronin.

Chris Cancelliere moves in on a flop, and Michael Humphries calls him.

Humphries:
Cancelliere:

Turn:
River:

Chris Cancelliere is therefore OUT in 6th place winning £1,566 while Giganto-Stack Humphries is up to around 500k.

Play has restarted with 5k/10k/1k blinds and antes and with Michael Humphries' lead, it's hard to see anyone being able to catch up at the moment.
