Well, officially we're kicking off in about 15 minutes, but I can only see about six players hovering in DTD, one dealer who admits she's bored currently, Chris Bruce ordering breakfast and one sleepy-looking beagle, who is still disgruntled from the singing wake-up call which Chris gave him this morning.

Since I have nothing new to report, and the chips are still sitting in their little bags, here's the lineup again, this time in seat order:

11   1   Erdinc Inan
11   2   Paul Murphy
11   3   Adam Goulding
11   4   Billy Ngo
11   5   Nichiei Hicks
11   6   Thomas Besnier
11   7   Kyriacos Dionysiou
11   8   Darren Chadwick

12   1   Mick Mccloskey
12   2   Andrew Tuxworth
12   3   Christopher Bruce
12   4   Richard Berridge
12   5   Carl Williams
12   7   Adam Wilkinson
12   8   Scott Yeates
12   9   Paul Gourlay

14   1   John Sadler
14   2   Jonathan Spinks
14   3   Andrew Woods
14   4   Shahnawaz Randera
14   5   Irina Liepina
14   6   Frances Creed
14   7   Richard Hawes
14   8   Richard Trigg
14   9   Tom Rutter

15   1   David Jones
15   2   Steve Jelinek
15   3   Neil Blatchly
15   4   Scott Byron
15   5   Paul Moyce
15   7   Nicolas Risdale
15   8   Przemek Rusin
15   9   Daniel Rudd

Cant believe what i did last night  Angry

Another 7 hours great enjoyable poker down the toilet because of one stupid slightly tired slip up! Was so annoyed at myself last night I was tempted to have a month off!

Luckily ill just wait for 300 in two weeks  Roll Eyes

Good luck to Paul Gourlay, made for an entertaining table, and i dont think the dealers quite knew what was going on when we started collecting in the antes for them! Take it down!

Early double up for short stack Jonathan Spinks, getting it in with and getting a spin from Shahnawaz Randera with in the big blind. A blank board later and he's now up to 25k.

And the rich get richer!

Adam Wilkinson raises either the first or second hand of the day to 3k, called in position by chip leader Paul Gourlay.
The flop comes:   "Four and a half," bets Adam, adding, "To make you laugh."
"To make me laugh?" responds Paul, before raising to 14k.  In a split second Adam has moved in and Paul has called:
Adam:
Paul:
Turn and river:

"That was quick," remarked Wilkinson.  "Glad I stayed."  He bid farewell to Mick McCloskey and headed to the rail.

Was tempted but think the numbers will be a bit low tonight. Plus its bank holiday weekend which means that i should spend my time equally between drinking and pokering. Glad its time not money or i would need to drink 250 pints of guinness.

Double up now for Nick Hicks, a late position limper and Billy Ngo made up in the small blind. Nick made a raise and the limper folded but Billy must have thought Nick was 'at it' because he moved in and Nick instantly called with with Billy only able to show . The board came out a decisive , Nick gets a full double up whilst Billy is crippled.

Whilst that all was happening, Rick Trigg has been knocked by Tom Rutter. They'd seen a limped pot in the small and big blind respectively where the flop came Q-J-7, Rick lead out for 2k, Tom raised to 6k, the limper folded and after some consideration Rick jammed for about 25k. Tom called with J-7 and Rick could only show Q-T. The turn brought an extra few outs with an ace but Rick failed to get there on the river. He's still pretty sure it was the right move as Tom could easily be raising with a worse queen or a draw in that position vs Trigg's lairy rep.

Daniel 'UpTheMariners' Rudd has also been knocked out though we missed it in all the frenetic actively.

SHORTWATCH!

There are about 5 short stacks who are taking every opportunity at the moment to get it in the middle and take their chances for a double up!  It's actiontastic, as tends to be the case at the beginning of Day Twos...  Here I present to you a who's-who of the shortstacks making their bids for glory or the front of the buffet queue...

Fran "We're on the table of death here!" Creed

Billy "Let's see how lucky I am" Ngo

Steve "I am more interested in my paper" Jelinek

Thomas "I haven't said anything or done anything to poke fun at" Besnier

Richard Berridge busts Carl Williams...

They got as far as a flop of two spades before Richard checked, Carl moved his last 14,900 in and after Richard answered his own, "Have you got any of that?" question, made the call.

Richard:
Carl:

And his outflopping hand stayed good as the board brought no redeeming Ace sending yet another to the rail...
