it looks like on betfair the favs to get wild-card picks are Darren Clarke and Paul Casey, with Poulter close up,  but I cant imagine a ryder cup without Monty in it !!!!

I'd like to see Monty and Clarke as the wild cards, sentimental viewing FTW!

Assuming it will be between Casey, Monty, Clarke and Poulter, who would you choose?

But Poulter has pulled out of the last event and so everyone is claiming he has been given the secret nod by faldo as one of his picks.

Would love to see Monty & Clarke in the team, however Faldo isnt big on sentiment and I dont think theres much love lost between him and Monty.

also i took a look at the US team and what a bag of spanners that looks. Europe should cane them, which obv means the yankees will win at a canter. 1.92 for the Euros to win seems a ridiculously huge price though.

I don't think Monty has a hope in hell of getting picked to be fair, so of the other 3 i'd defo have Casey and i can't decide over Clarke and Poulter

I'm a big Faldo fan , so i'm praying he's gonna get the job done , would have been easier if he got a home match but we should still spank the yanks

On a form basis it has to be Poulter and Clarke, surely. I would be happy for Monty to get it, though I can't see it. He has a great record, but I don't he'd keep that by the end of September if he plays.

When is the announcement?

Clarke and McGinley ftw, but Poulter is obv. nailed-on.

I dont think theres much love lost between him and Monty.

Only one player can overtake Faldo as the highest scoring Ryder Cup player ever - guess who...
