Murray is a legend. Nadal will be a struggle but he has a chance.

Nadal V Murray at Wimbledon was an absolute masterclass for Murray, Nadal was relentlessly efficient and schooled him on what its going to take to be a genuine World class player...

Something drastic will have to happen for Murray to have ANY chance...

On the carpet, Nadal will eat up that comparatively weak second serve

He has little chance, but its still an excellent achievement to get to the semis

Spend the winter bulking up, getting fitter and developing more power on that second serve and he stands a good chance of losing more semi's to Nadal in the future!

guaranteed world number 4 after this week unless Roddick wins the thing

I give Murray  more of a fighting chance against Nadal than most of you guy's. He's gone on record saying how much he thinks hardcourts are his preferred surface and Nadal cannot play the way he did in Wimbledon that was unreal

Also Nadal usually sucks at the U.S open , this is his first semi i do believe so he obv aint liking the hardcourts too much

My prediction = Murray to win a set at the very very very least and not get mauled again.......I would not be shocked if Murray won though

Yes, if Nadal gets tired on a hard court at the end of a tournament, his game can actually fall apart (as super high energy levels are a big part of his game). Nalbandian beat him 6-4 6-0 in Paris at the end of last year and Youzhny demolished him 6-0 6-1 this year.

This is the best surface for them to meet on, Murrays best and Nadals worst.

Murray is playing as well as he ever has post Wimbledon and his physical conditioning is fine now. He has outlasted 2 opponents (Melzer and Del Potro) physically this tournament. Of course this won't happen against Nadal who is a machine.

Roddick won't win the thing he lost to Djokovic in 4 last night.

Having said all this Nadal to win in 4 after a competitive first 2 sets.

i thought 10/11 for murry to go out in the semis before last nights match was an awesome price
This is a great price. As TCP posted above, he IS going to lose the semi final, so in effect you are getting 10/11 for an 8/13 bet.

LOL ... You think ?

What price was he to win the 1/4 final match ?

for the 10/11 to scoop he has to win a match and then lose a match, if you think 10/11 on that happening is an awesome price you should steer clear of gambling imo.

But he will lose the semi, so he was getting 10/11 for him to win last night, not the worst bet...  What was Murray just to win the 1/4?
