The last thing isn't correct because on average taller people hit the ball shorter. This is because their arc is steeper rather than longer and promotes a slice reducing distance considerably. The biggest hitter at my local club if it isn't me is my friend that is 5ft4. Hes a beast!


Power is a broad word as I wouldn't say I have a powerful physique. It's all well having big guns but if you aren't flexible then you're fkd.

Obviously not but have you got a better thinking? When taller players start golf they have a hard time because their swing is very steep and they hit a big slice. After a lot of practice (and probably some customised clubs) they'd be ok. I explained this to Karl when we played because he's a giant but is a pretty fast learner and is bombing it down the middle already!

+1, dan ur personal experience is that they slice, without that factor, in a controlled experiment, club arc would deffo increase length.

What an incred end to a golf tournament.

All this focus on Tiger lately followed with the 'here is Phil's chance to take No1' bollocks to all of that, i actually found myself glad today that neither of them were in the mix. There was so much exciting young talent on the course today, this season is going to be epic and we will be getting paiiiiiiiiid.
