june. Better to be true to yourself than to lie to the world. Give your vote to whom you feel deserves it.
fwiw i think the leaugue should just be judged on ROI.

Says the man who has played 27 comps on stars and tilt so far this year, compared to Rookie's ~150!!!!

Surely profit is more important?

on any staking proposal, bottom line must be the only factor thats releveant. ROI is not worth a toss, its gross profit that is the measuring stick surely.

Yeah sorry, heavy one last night, Profit is king. I dont put in the mass volume of rooks and rich. I prefer to play the role of the praying mantis and strike when least expected.

Say what you want about Columbo, but don't be coming on this thread slagging Quincy!
Hold tight, Columbo WAS the man!!! FACT
he's got a 100% strike rate over likie 30 years, i dont know how the fuck he wasnt running the city with that record and what made me laugh was that even after he had gotten the last 500 cases right you'd still get some rookie tosser or supercilious captain doubting him, bastards!!! just let the man do his job!!! it was a liberty, the only time i ever saw him slip was in the one with faye dunnaway and he let her daughter go cos he wanted to give her one.
barring that singular slip how can you compare quincy to columbo, different league son!!
though i do feel we're all in agreement about diagnosis "not looking good for van dykes career" murder.

I have a question about the stable "make up".
Is that your risk Flushy, or is it money owed back to you if the player doesnt do well and ends up leaving the stable either through his or your choice?

This is where trust comes in, there is nothing really to stop someone getting deep in MU then doing a runner other than loyalty and a baseball bat.
I would hope that if someone wanted out they would wait till they are clear of MU or arrange to pay it off.

Fair point and understood and if that is clear from the start then everyone knows where they stand then thats fine
I have to admit though that its not my understanding of staking. If I buy someone into an event or contribute to their buy in for a % then thats my risk, if they bust out then I have lost my money.
If you are staking them and taking a 50% of winnings but if they do badly and are down a few k and have to pay you back, then where is your risk?
(and I dont include the trust element in your risk as your selection process should rule that out).
I am not being critical I am just asking the question.
Wouldnt someone be better off getting a £5k bank loan for buy ins and be able to keep all the winnings?
