yeah we're off. can't help feeling I'm being scammed though, you've set it up with a 3 day move period knowing we're off to blondebash. if you claim a timeout win while I'm there I'll cry

hi used to play alot a couple of yrs back..Best moment won the Individual u125 derbyshire championship. Then started playing on internet chess club. A few draws in simuls against im. By the way this site is best around for playing gm and im.
The U1600 team had the best performance of all. In spite of losing 5(!) games by forfeit they still made it to the playoffs, not least thanks to a monster 8-0 performance from assistant captain pokerram. Lionskins and nanning also had good performances to clinch the playoff spot. The quarter final was won quite easily, however just as everything was looking good (1½-½ up after 2 games) they lost the last 2 games and the match. A great pity.
The U1800 team had a mediocre performance, though they did have playoff-chanced right up to the last round.
The last paragraph was my best performance in the 4545 team comp on site.
Alas i packed in playing when the site found out a couple of the players who beat me had been using computors. Although be fair to the site they weed them out quite effectively. Not played for about 18 mths now. Also on internet chess club there is some very good poker players who do nothing else but talk poker in their poker chat . Masquarade on stars being one of the better players.

Playing against computers, or even unknowingly against other strong players (i.e. someone plays against two strong players, black on one board, white on the other and copies the moves of this opponents - so effectively playing the same game from each side) is a problem with internet chess.
No one would think that playing me though, computers don't blunder like I do.
Oh, and if anyone wants a game, just challenge me on RedHotPawn - kinboshi is my username on there (surprisingly).
