If he's 6 he'll actually like Phantom Menace - seeing as he's right in the middle of the age group Lucas was aiming at.

Oh, I don't know. My 5+6 YO boys like 1-3. They're young. Lucas did seem to aim them at that age after all. I'll learn 'em someday Smiley.

Is there an echo?

I would let him watch them in the order they were made. Otherwise he'd watch eps 1, 2 & 3 and be disappointed in 4, 5 & 6.

Dude, he's 6, not a film critic. Watch them in episode order I say. At least he'll have a chance of following what's going on that way. Phantom Menace is god awful though, except for the double-ended light sabers. Woot woot!
if phantom menace was before starwars/empire/jedi, then why dont we have double ended light sabres in those movies ?

Did Darth Maul win any fights with it? They were flawed imo.

Its got to be in the order of making, the first 3 films are in the top 10 films ever made.

Not sure little Johnny is going to appreciate Citizen Kane.

Light sabre in one hand, make things fly with other hand was always a better technique.

Although the double-ended light saber was handy, it was considered less powerful than a single ended light saber. Due to its inferior strength, the double is no match for the single, hence why they ditched it and stuck with the single for future battles.

I thought they ditched the double because you had to pay 17.5% I-GVAT on the double but not the single.
