Right, it's up and running....almost 100% too.  I've put the hard drive in the wrong way and need to swap it over, but apart from that it's all good.

I did make one further mistake which was to plug the cable connection into the video hole.  This doesn't work so I'd advise against it.

It's a good bit of kit.  I'm not quite sure what I can say about it, it works well and I've now got loads of channels I didn't have earlier which is lovely for the movies and the extra sports.  It's a really nice bit of kit. I do need to get the hard drive sorted though.

Just the scart lead.  And the little bit of plastic with a white panel - that's apparently supposed to be stuck to the hard drive to pull it out again.  Not quite sure how I'll get mine out again at the moment Cheesy

Oh make sure you plug the cable connection in the right hole

So, other than user error.... it's working OK?

Can you schedule your recordings?

Yeah it's all down to user error.

Can't record anything yet due to the hard drive being stuck in the wrong way.  I need to correct that then take a look but I cant see a tv guide on there yet.  I can get the current program but haven't worked out how to get future programs.  I'm sure you can, like every other problem I've had, it's more than likely user error Cheesy

I shouldn't be able to get fancy things like this!

brag post

I'm all up and running 100% now.

yes, there's a full program guide and yes you can record from it - looks a bit like the Sky set up, bit of a low budget version though, all works well
