It was when he was at Palace, against Coventry on 6th Sept 1980, if that helps your searching.

Just watched it for he first time.  I'm not even sure the ball had totally crossed the line for a corner. 

I'd like to see Platini argue how that makes the game better.

Of course, there's one way to make sure the ref gets the decision right
