Got the nice chip lead, blinds aren't that big yet, I'd say this ain't the spot to stick it with fek all.

On the other side of the coin, not the time to be so tight that we just play AA and KK though. The other two players could be gambling it up, no reason to believe the 2nd all-in must be super strong.

Going to call with QQ+ and AK in this spot. Might loosen/tighten this range depending on reads.

I like this

we've 3bet and there's been a 4b ai and a 5b ai. QQ has to be borderline. def binning JJ unless these 2 are mega loose

not been loose at all - in fact pretty tight - even the smallest stacks still have 10 and 20 BB each.

i actually passed QQ. i almost vomited when I saw JJ and AK

Interesting one coz if the sat paid 2 spots + $750, I'd defo pass QQ.

Reason being the two all-ins would be pushing with a much tighter range. Here they could be gambling it up for the top prize/only seat.

I think you were right to pass here. With  rayusmaximus (the biggest stack) playing tight I think it narrows it down to AK, AA or KK. 12 out of 28 times you are big dog. Other 16 coinf flip.

Assuming you are comfortable playing against the guys on the table you will still have good chance of winning seat if you fold. No need to gamble imo.

As long as I've got 7x in my hand I'm calling.

The chance of making a straight would just be too tempting to make it a fold.

Other than that it's AA or KK for me.

AK, JJ or QQ I'm raising more pre so might even be committed despite not liking it too much.

actually thats a good point, to focus more on my original re-raise pre-flop. I was tempted to make a much bigger raise, but didnt really want to chase my original "customer" away.

personally I think the all-in call with AK is awful.

happy ending ? no, after this i lost 4 races trying to force the play (tilted a bit), which up until then I wasnt doing.

Kinda helps to have reads/image and tournament info.

3betting pre you should have QQ+, AQ+ (although AQ and QQ could be flatted, as any raise shows huge strength)

Calling that 4bet should be QQ+ and maybe AK depending on how active the table/you have been. QQ is meh too and in a satelittle it's probably a fold. Helps how close to the prizes me are
