I am going to be playing in the APAT pro-am at luton this weekend. The buyin is £300 (no juice), and you can read all about it here
http://www.apat.com/index.phpas I said I have already decided to play in this event, no matter the result of this. I am basically just looking to try and cover my expenses, by selling up to 50%. Preferably in multiples of 5% (£15). This is a straightforward 1:1 equity split.
My game is pretty solid, and have a decent record in these APAT events (from 4 events played, 1 final table cash and 2 just outside the money). My overall record in low-mid buyin events with between 50-150 runners is pretty consistent.
Anyway, enough of the hard-sell. The good bit is the added value - the winner of this event in addition to getting a load of cash, will also get an entry to the GUKPT grand final worth £3000. In the likely event of me winning the APAT, then any % holders will automatically get the same percentage stake in the GUKPT. (they can however, if they prefer "cash out" at this point and take their % of the buyin back).
form an orderly queue...
