                          the mighty                   Mr. Tighty

Hi Mr. T

Some of us new members don't know the stories of how you and the other founders started Blonde

Thanks for giving us a quick recap must seem like Deja Vu

How long have you been playing poker ?

October 2004. Was in the old Luton casino one midweek night, trying to waste a quiet night.
Saw the poker room from afar. Entered on a whim and final tabled.

How long on Blonde ?

The forum since Jan 05 when it started. The card-room began in 2006, so since then

Which sites do you play on

blonde, Full Tilt, stars, occasionally others

Do you play live at pubs, clubs or Casinos

casinos mostly, sometimes clubs. Only ever in a pub once

Had any big wins yet

Yes. £five figures the biggest though I stopped playing the circuit in 2006.

Do you play every day

No. I play live 1-2 times  a week though it was 4-5 times. I play online far far less than I used to.
I fell out of love with the game (playing it) earlier this year, and am currently rekindling.

Where did you go on holiday this year

Ireland, with my children to stay with Laxie and her family

How many miles a week do you drive

750plus

Do you prefer on line or Live

Live

Who's your favorite Poker Pro

Not sure I have one. I like those who are polite eg Julian Thew or understated eg Alan McLean the most, instinctively

Ever played a Poker Pro, like Aces or Devilfish

Yes, through most of 2006 regularly and infrequently now . They are no different to you and I.
Some are very good, some are merely hype. Some are way over-rated. Some are nice, some are obnoxious

Whats your favorite restaurant, Chinese, Indian , french, Thai

Any and all! Choose one: Indian

Does your wife/partner play poker

not currently applicable

Can I print this on the web site

Of course

Thanks

                            with the very lovely Joobie

Hi Joobs,

How long have you been playing Poker

 1 year 2 days

You are always writing to Sky, how many E mails a week do you send, I send about 3 a day

yeah i go a bit mad every now and then!

Do you like Dan or Matt best

I love them both equally

Does your partner play poker

He didn't - so i dumped him!

Do you drive much or use trains/buses

Drive everywhere, try not to use public transport (strange people always sit next to me)

Have you met any Poker pro's

only if they were at a blonde bash or Sky Poker event

I hope you qualify for Birmingham, I see you keep trying like me every night

so do I!!
Good luck joobs

Thank you same to you x

And now the legend interviewer    Mr. Barry  Carter

Hi Barry

Who was the hardest person to get an Interview with

The Superuser guy.
And MateyBoy, he remains pretty aloof.

Who was the Silliest person you every interviewed

I guess it was Andy Black, hes all religeous n that, Hellmuth comes joint 2nd

How far have you traveled for an Interview (longest trip)

Vegas technically, but I was going there anyway, every interview Ive ever done has been opportunistic,
ie. I took the oppo to interview people in the next place I was going, rather than going there to interview them.

Who was your favorite

Steve Davis, legend

Did any lady Poker players ask you out ?

Vicky Coren once asked me to get out of her way.

Are you going to "BIG UP" Simon Trumper for taking out Phil Hellmuth

What those two boys do in their personal life is none of my business, good luck to them though, they make a cute couple.

Who was the worst interviewee  and why

Hellmuth I guess, he was nice enough but did nothing to shake off the egotistical image I had of him,
within one minute without me asking him anything he had already said "well Barry, as you know Im the greatest player of all time"

do you travel to Vegas very often,  where do you stay

Not that often, but its about to be a twice a year jobby all being well. The Sahara is good value for money if you can book early.

Can I print this on the Blonde web site

Of course

Thanks Dave,    great answers 9 out 10,     gold star

 Now                                            Mr. Jizzemm

Hi m8

How long have you been playing poker ?

Since the pain in the arse ChipPrince showed me Ladbrokes poker back in the old days of PNL.
Probably about 4 to 5 years ago

How long on Blonde ?

10 minutes for a blonde, brunette all night.. Seriously 18 months

Which sites do you play on

I do actually play on blonde, nice loyalty payment, although new job does not give me much time to play anymore.
Got some money on most sites so have a dabble here and there when ipoker decide to give me a rough time

Do you play live at pubs, clubs or Casinos

I try and play APAT events and also try and qualify for any of the Virgin poker festivals,
along with the odd Chezger game and monday night game organised by LOJ at the local Cricket Club

Had any big wins yet

Virgin Poker Terminator Event in DTD is my proudest poker monent, 1st place with 7 scalps as welll,
a local comp in the old Grosvener in Liverpool as well.

Do you play every day

Used to play every day, but work now means that my online poker time is very limited,
but i try and get in a few Double Money STT's now and then along with the odd tournament
and blonde events if their held on my days off

Where did you go on holiday this year

damm forgot to book one

How many miles a week do you drive

Probably about 100 in total, blame it on the Credit Crunch, cant afford to drive anymore

Do you prefere on line or Live

I prefer Live for sure, but enjoy the banter of the online blonde and APAT games

Who's your favorite Poker Pro

How can it be anyone else but Chili (brother loves her  ). Also live Ivy and Roland,
the way they handle themselfs on a poker table is something else.

Ever played a Poker Pro, like Aces or Devilfish

Was fortunate to be able to share a table with Aces at a game in DTD, other than that I suppose Tikay, Compo, Maria and a few other blondes count.

Whats your favorite restaurant, Chinese, Indian , french, Thai

Chinese

Does your wife/partner play poker

N/A - fml

Can I print this on the web site

Yes

Thanks

And now the lovely                  Clare           Claw75

Hi m8

Hello Crow

do you want to do an interview ?

It would be an honour and a privilege
Here are  the questions  Answer some or all , thanks

What the heck - I'll answer 'em all!

How long have you been playing poker ?

Since December 2005, so just shy of 3 years

How long on Blonde ?

Since early 2006

Which sites do you play on

Don't play a great deal online, but when I do it's mainly on blonde or stars

Do you play live at pubs, clubs or Casinos

have played in all of the above

Had any big wins yet

had a few nice wins, but nothing massive yet.  Biggest online win is $3000, biggest live cash £1,350
Do you play every day

no - about 3-4 days a week on average

Where did you go on holiday this year

had a long weekend in Center Parcs in May and another in Great Yarmouth in July

How many miles a week do you drive

varies - anything between 20 and 350

Do you prefer on line or Live

Live by a very long way indeed

Who's your favorite Poker Pro

I've got a soft spot for Andy Black. Closer to home I love to see the blondes doing well - Maria Demetriou, Julian Thew, Flushy, Tikay etc

Ever played a Poker Pro, like Aces or Devilfish

yep played a few of them.  In fact the field in my first ever live game included the likes of Dave Colclough, Joe Grech and Tikay - it was a baptism of fire!

Whats your favorite restaurant, Chinese, Indian , french, Thai

all of the above and more - depends on my mood.  I love food!

Does your  husband/partner play poker

he's an MTT monkey!

Can I print this on the web site

I would be devastated if you didn't!

Thanks from Crowy

You're very welcome x
