Can I print this on the web site
You would need to check with my boss, Flushy, first. If he agrees then go for it.
(flushy has said OK)
Thanks

"More like a Dad" indeed. Taught him everything he knows - his entire poker knowledge came from me.
So, you're taking the blame?
That's very broad-shouldered of you.

Had a very nice reply from
Phil
Cooklin
today, thanks Phil
SNATIRAMAS
Hi Phil,
Your thread is entertaining and a good read - Sir you are far too kind. I only started doing it as the thought of dieting made me so angry I had to get the anger out somehow......Wouldn't have done it on any other site to be honest.
Tell us about your poker
How long have you been playing poker ? Five and a half years. I started by playing live at the old Grosvenor in Luton. The Tuesday night rookie nights were a great place to go and learn.
Steve
Templeman
,
Willie
Tann
and a whole host of others
How long on Blonde ? December 15, 2005, 04:18:46 PM..........I was a voyeur for a bit before then
Which sites do you play on.......Used to play on Laddies and Stars......now play Blondepoker and sky when I play on line which is not very often now
Do you play live at pubs, clubs or Casinos........played in clubs but most of the time in casinos......never in a pub
Had any big wins yet.......No life changing ones which is my definition of a big win
Do you play every day.........No. Poker remains a hobby. I play because I want to, not because I have to. I take regular breaks from the game. It is after all very intrusive as regards time. I go on this site pretty much every day though because I love its diversity
Where did you go on holiday this year..... Went to the Cotswolds and had a great time in spite of the weather. Funny if you do not expect good weather then it really does not matter if it is raining.
How many miles a week do you drive.......I do about 20k a year....ergo 400 / week.
Do you prefer on line or Live. Online has enabled me to go and do all sorts of poker events that I would not otherwise have done.
Lad
brokes
poker cruise, WPT in the Bahamas, the WSOP main event, the Irish Open and other bits and pieces. So I love online but Live poker FTW
Who's your favorite Poker Pro.......
Daniel
Negreanu
........just strikes me as a good bloke
Ever played a Poker Pro, like Aces or Devilfish......Had a table with
Jennifer
Harman
,
Joe
Hachem
and The Camel in the Bahamas which was great fun. My first ever final table had Aces on it at Luton. It was a rookie night and he was there promoting a website. I knocked him out with some filth like 9,7 off.
Whats your favorite restaurant,( Liter life powder). Lighter life shake I like is Banana mixed with instant coffee. Bar is cranberry. Favourite restaurant is the Orrery or Palais Du Jardin. Blooms is a close third.
Does your wife/partner play poker. No she thinks all players are saddo's. She likes the money I win though.
Can I print this on the web site..........Of course you can
Thanks....No thank you for bringing something different to the site
+1
you are the best thing to happen to blonde in a long time IMO crow. Make sure you say hi at Luton at the apat thing.

Hey, My point was I'm having much more fun on here
Hey just got another post from James
FLUSHY
Mr. Flush is travelling , but has found time to send in this
Started playing hold'em about 10years ago at home with my Brother and Dad. First played 'properly' Jan 2003 (William Hill poker)
How long on Blonde ?
Not one of the early crowd but been here a long while. I was a devout Hendon Mob'er but I made the move across in May 2005.
Which sites do you play on?
I play most of my poker on Stars, Full Tilt, Ladbrokes, Party and BlueSquare (ipoker) but have accounts on the other networks as well.
Do you play live at pubs, clubs or Casinos
Just at Casino's for me, mostly in the Rendezvous Brighton but when i get bored i venture anywhere for a good festival
(although haven't done so this year)
Had any big wins yet
Nothing yet but a ridiculous number of close encounters, it will happen soon!
Do you play every day
God no, does anyone actually do that?
Where did you go on holiday this year
Toronto for new year, Vegas in Jan for annual piss up, French alps Skiing in Febuary after that got stuck into playing poker for a bit but went to Cannes last month (albeit for a tournament) taking the missus on a Caribbean Cruise in Nov and going to Vegas in December might sneak out to Cyprus in a couple of weeks as well but not sure about that yet.
How many miles a week do you drive
About 6k a year so i guess around 100 a week.
Do you prefer on line or Live
Online for money making, live for just having fun and winning money without thinking.
Who's your favorite Poker Pro
Gus Hansen probably takes the title, i love the way he breaks hands down and figures out a move, of similar ilk would be Dan Negreanu but he just isn't as funny!
Online Pro's i would say the likes of Moorman/Westmenlow/Annette for tournaments and Patrick Antonious/Durr for cash
Ever played a Poker Pro, like Aces or Devilfish
Played with pretty much everyone on the UK circuit including Simon before his retirement, played with Gus Hansen and Dan Negreanu from the US scene. Played lots of top live and online names on line as well always fun!
Whats your favorite restaurant, Chinese, Indian , french, Thai
French, they do food pretty damn well! Can't play poker though.
Does your girlfriend/partner play poker
She actually played last night for the first time ever, went through hand rankings with her then got her on a small FLHE game in which she won 34 big bets in 1hr, wiiiii
Can I print this on the web site
Of course you can Mr Crow!
Thanks
No Thankyou! Am very much enjoying your posts and it was a pleasure to meet you at BB7!

Now the very lovely
Laxie
As a blonde regular, it must hard living in Ireland to come and play in local tourneys
Blimey. First off, I feel privileged to even be considered for one of your infamous interviews, so thanks for that. Yeah, it can be a pain to have to travel over all the time, but they always make me feel very welcome, which is why I always return.
Do you drive or fly to UK
Fly every time. They drive like complete nutters over there, so I'm ok with missing out on that fun.
Which airport , is it Ryan Air
I live 25 minutes from Kerry Airport, but Cork or Shannon will do too. Desperate times call for desperate measures and all that.
Do you bring the family or leave 'em behind
Would love to bring the kids over to meet everyone, but casinos in the UK don't allow them in, so they stay at home. Bring 'Himself' the odd time, but not afraid to travel it alone.
Have you been to Vegas, any luck ?
Never. Went to AC for a night (the day after we were married in 1990) and cleaned up at the black jack table for a whopping $50. Was delighted. Dream of going to Vegas some day, but not counting on it. A girl can dream, can't she?
Have you ever played on a table with any poker pros
First ever live game I had Lucy Rokach sat at my table. Sigh.
How did it go
Was scared to death!!! She was knocked out in the top 20 and I went out in fabulous fashion in 5hth place, but was delighted to have lasted longer than one of my idols at the time.
Are you coming over for the next Sky tour in Birmingham
Half afraid to play satellites for anything in the UK because I have great luck at winning the seats. By the time you add flights and hotel into the gig and then throw in the 'holiday' factor, I'm dead money and cost my house too much to justify the trip.
Do you live near any poker Casino's pubs/clubs
I started the first ever Hold Em tourney in our area 2 years ago. It's held in the local country pub and gets 30 or more runners every Thursday night.
There's a card room 25 minutes away, but they're taking the piss with their rake/reg fees, so I refuse to play there. 20 buy in + 10 reg? Uhhhhhh, I don't think so!
Closest 'legit' game is just over an hour away, so I stick to the local pub, reg free donk fests. Those comps would make The Duke look like a solid player...shocking! lol
Thanks for answering the questions
My pleasure. Thanks for asking.
hope to see you again soon
You too pet. You are a crow after all, so surely I can call you 'pet', no?
Can i print this on the web page
Would be offended if you didn't after spending 30 minutes anserwing the damn thing
From crowman
Mind yerself xx

Tonight is the Vegas legend
CHOMPY IMO
Hi Chompy
How long have you been playing poker ?
My first experience was in 1999, at Circus Circus, but nothing for a couple of years
after that and only played regularly for the last four years or so.
Which sites do you play on Sky Poker. Is there any other?
Do you play live at pubs, clubs or Casinos
Never played in a pub. I was a regular at Gutshot for a year or so but now play mainly at Luton.
The standard is high there, at least among the Monday, Wednesday, Sunday brigade.
Still play occasionally at The Western/Palm Beach.
Had any big wins yet Six bracelets and three EPTs. CROW>> Only 6
Do you play every day
Pretty much. I play live two or three times a week and, if I'm not playing, I usually at least watch poker on TV.
The Club is still a bit rough round the edges and open to improvement but I usually watch.
That Micky Wernick interview a while ago was quality. Tikay is a legend. Compo is no Trevor Harris but,
if I was a woman, oooh that voice...
Where did you go on holiday this year
Vegas twice, the June stint almost killed me. Back there next month. Love it, will probably do the usual
and play an average of 12 hours a day, every day. Few other Lutoners going out, should be a good trip.
How many miles a week do you drive
No more than 200. Cinema, Luton and back, not much else. Work from home.
Do you prefer on line or Live
Online is not poker to me, live is the only way.
Who's your favorite Poker Pro
Vince Calenti, Seb Nimier, Nick Slade. Or, more seriously, I've been particularly impressed by Gavin Smith and Mark Vos, especially the latter. Domestically Sam Trickett is definitely somebody to watch.
Ever played a Poker Pro, like Aces or Devilfish
Played briefly with aces but never with Devilfish. Wouldn't want to particularly, find him extremely annoying.
I've played with a number of the bigger US names, wasn't as impressed by any of them as much as G.Smith and M.Vos.
Whats your favorite restaurant,English, French, Greek, Eskimo, Moroccan
Turkish, two kebabs a week minimum for me.
Does your wife/partner play poker
N/A imo
Can I print this on the web site
Yes imo
Thanks your a Star
