More Jacks

APAT Pro-Am blinds 200/400 we have just over average 17K, all competent players on the table apart from UTG who I guess is playing something like 60/5, calling down with 3rd pair, ace high once, limping with 94 and spiking trips on the river kinda player. He has raised TT and called a push for all his chips before but generally he's limping and calling rather than raising so I think his range is kinda tight here.
He has 10K and raises to 1350, we have JJ on the button, it's folded round to us what we do?
everything seems somewhat awkward to me. my thoughts at the time were if his range is say 99+ AQ+ then I'm flipping if I push, do I need to flip with such a player or do I see a safe flop and value town him, but I could get bluffed off the best hand if an overcard flops which is like 99.9% certain to happen LDO. If I weeraise to say 3600 then I have to call a push otherwise I has turned JJ into a bluff.
I think calling is perhaps best but it seems pretty weak

I agree with the call in this scenario, hope you don't get a call from the blinds and out play him post flop in position.

What makes you think he will bluff you off the best hand if you just call? Seems like an ideal guy to be playing with position.

Call I don't like 3 betting with hands this early, you leave yourself very tricky decision if he comes back over the top (well its a pass but you might get stubborn with your children in the pot).
Flat call him and outplay him throught the streets.

Yeah I think a call is fine here. Post flop against weak player should tell you all you need to know...

i love jacks
you can set mine against this player and pot control on Q high/raggedy flops and maybe even Vbet if he's calling down with AK. Kinda get away from K/A high flops but this bad player wud prob giv off sum kinda tell
