Total Bullsh*t...I would push it further Mo
Is it worth it really?. I doubt if the outcome would be much different. I just find it so bloody annoying that there is all this about clamping down on street gangs carrying weapons but yet when they are caught early enough to maybe deter them into next time carrying a weapon they let um off.

I'd definitely follow Robert's advice.
I'm sure there are also ways of pursuing a civil case as well.

The wording went as follows.
PROGRESS SO FAR
Following successful investigation, a young person/s has been arrested and admitted your crime.
The young person has been given a fianl warning for your crime. This decision was made after considering the circumstances of the offence abd the previous character of the young person. Whilst the young person is not going to court on this occasion, this fianl warnig will be taken into account if they are arrested in the future.
Hmmm. They took into account his previous character, yet this is a 'final warning' - ie, he's done this sort of stuff before. I agree with Kev - an absolute scandal. No wonder no one has any faith in the justice system any more. Also, the phrase 'successful investigation' is just jarring and pretty disgraceful.

Hard in UK to cause broken leg in assault and not go to court/get custodial term unless there is lack of evidence. Must be lack of evidence?

you see though, its not their fault, little lambs. probably had a tough upbringing.
also the fact that there is a total unwillingness to send anyone to jail, unless it is for nicking a few quid from the government. this is due to prison "overcrowding". there are too many people in prison you see.
well, the solution is simple. build more jails. in fact dont build them jails, make them build them themselves. and then fill them up. and if they do it again, then put them back in. only the really stupid are likely to continually reoffend before they get the message, and therefore not a great loss to society.
scum.

The onestop gave us a copy but we couldn't play it because of the way it was copied or the system they use. We don't have it now. But it does say the youth/s admitted, so well hmmm, what a strange world we live in.

You would think so wouldn't you. This country is a disgrace when it comes to crime and punishment, an absolute disgrace. There is so much I'd like to say but could be here all day and night. The worst thing about it is that this is standard throughout the country. Sadly these little bastards or some of them will probably go on to do a lot worse to someone else. This is a shameful outcome. Other than what has already been mentioned I would also suggest making your concerns known to your MP.
