i'm not sure what your saying. if your saying stars players are just as good as DTD players at the same level. i have never played on DTD but i was just thinking that with bigger pools of players = decrease in standard = more weaker players. plus, DTD isn't well know to people who are just your casual poker players as it's not advertised like pokerstars is.

First of it was DTD live club, secondly DTD online is part of the crypto network which is made up of a lot of bookmakers/online casino's so the players tend to be a lot worse than stars.

Now go walk somewhere.

As Flushy said this is a live hand played at the club, therefore the standard is going to be a lot worse than stars.

As for the difference between the online sites, i would imagine its close. Despite stars being advertised on TV etc, it also has the best regs on the internet who like the software and customer service.

Yeah of course we are, I posted so earlier in the thread.

I simply disagreed with your summation that the players in this game are going to better than the ones in the equivalent game on Stars.

Didn't want to start an argument - lol!

Anyway, this was most definitely live, which I didn't actually stress in my original post. I perhaps should also have made it clearer that I only called because I felt, rightly or wrongly, that at this point in the hand, the odds dictated it. I kind of knew I was beaten, which of course made it extra painful when his Queens for a better set were confirmed. I just wanted feedback as to whether the call was ok or not.

I have since had some feedback on the other player - the other night, a guy was steaming about him, saying he had come to our table because this player had taken great pleasure in slow rolling him the nuts. He didn't do that to me to be fair, but interesting nonetheless..

As an aside, I had my first Royal last night (no, not Fergie, although everyone else has had her) and the other guy had a King high straight flush... ouch....I think I upset him when I said that he was lucky we weren't both deepstacked at the time.

Kinboshi was sitting next to me at the time and can confirm that I meant well.
