Newmarket Saturday

Ive been given a tip for the CESAREWITCH which if I remember is a very hard race to predict.
the tip is - Askar Tau - which is also the favourite at 5-1. The draw is said to be not favourable so I wondered what opinions on here were before taking the plunge.
I also think new approach is different class to his opposition in the champion stakes but again would welcome opinions.

Aska Tau must have a great chance but 5/1 in such a hard race is not a great price, i would try and get a price with a bookie who gives you the bigger odds if it drifts, last years winner Leg spinner runs but the jockey rides Arc Bleu, trainer loves a gamble and this may be backed big tomorrow,
i cant see the conditions bothering New Approach tomorrow, loves Newmarket which is very important here. i never thought he would get the 12f but he did get it easy so cant see 10f bothering him, my concern would be he has had a bit of leg trouble and he hasnt settled in a few races, but he has always had problems settling and still only ever been beaten by the Duke of Marmalade and Henry the Navigator, i wouldt take evens myself but will back it if i can get 7/4

I cant have askar tau at all.The price is way to short and i dont like backing 3 year old's in this race. Going on past winners you need a battle hardened handicaper, jumps trainers have a reasonable record in this race so i'll have a go with Liberate,Mamlook and Arc Bleu against the field.
