just paid a trip to the local bargain booze and was overwhelmed by all the new lagers.Allsorts of stuff Polish,German etc.settled on DAB original a German brew pretty light and crisp pleasent tasting but nothing special5% alc. Was just wondering if theres any real diamonds amongst the new beers or shall i just try them all myself.

if you want to get drunk quickly go for Warka Strong. it's 8 or 9% but tastes like normall beer

for a normal drink (well, about 6%) any Polish beer is good but try Tyskie or Zubr if you can, they're tops

or if you're daring go for zywiec porter @ 9.5%

agree with the polish beers top stuff.

Krušovice from the czech republic is always a good shout too.

edit: tonight im on tuborg from denmark, tough to top imo.

Awesome place, only issue is having to walk passed all that Bourbon.

Of the Pilsner type Bitburger for the clear win.

For something different Desperados and for the light cheeky ale Peroni Red - but so many are good, am a particular fan of South America it seems.

I will venture down the polish isle on my next visit.
