[ ] Discussing football with nemesis is worthwhile
[X] I've seen carragher make tackles like that king one many many times
[X] Carragher is underrated by most on here imo
[ ] It would be hard to go and find vids of king fukn up against much lesser players than henry
[ ] You would've shown a cock up of carra against your biggest rivals if there was many others to show

I think Carragher is a good, solid player. But he isn't in King's class.
When both were fit in EURO 2004 King was chosen to play against France.
King>Woodgate>Carragher
^^
I would be very surprised if anyone else disagrees?

I don't think there is too much scope to disagree in terms of ability, but that's not to say it's the order you'd sooner have them in your team or squad. King can't be regarded as a top class defender now imo.

Ability for a defender is more than being able to dribble with the ball. Organisation, command of the defence, decision-making, reading of the game, etc., are all part of a defender's ability. In those areas Carragher is top drawer.

Yeah but King can count up to 10 and string a sentence together

In all fairness I think Carragher is a good solid Premiership defender (although Henry did rape him most times) I think had King not had the injuries he has had I think he would be a top class defender.
If both were fit King > Carra

If both were fit King > Carra
Henry raped everyone - he was easily the best forward in the world at his peak.

In all fairness I think Carragher is a world class Premiership defender (has been for many years ) I think had King not had the injuries he has had I think he may have played alot more games and may have shown enough to be comparable to Carra but as it is , its a no contest
If both were fit Carra > King
