Right or wrong....
«

Hi all, I think i made the right move at the right time, i would just like reaffirmation or re-education if im wrong....
Tourny size is irrelevant imo (its a £15 FO), i would like think u shud approach all with the same mindset....??...
55 runners, now down to 11, Blinds are 3k/6k, i have 54k and am 2nd in chips at my table, there are also 2 players with just <3 x BB on table, (one of which only had about 20k), bloke to my right (Ali), is raising every other hand and imo stealing a lot??...(although has shown big cards for effect b4)...im on SB, all folds round to Ali ( has 52k) who Raise's it too 18k...i have A/K, i re-raised All-in..BB folds and Ali tanks it...before coming out with immortal phrase "i know i must be behind but ive gotta call"....he shows Q/J...Flop is Q/Q/4/X/X...im out on the bubble gg......(He's now chip leader)
Should i have folded and waited to get into the money and FT, or am i right to play my usual way regardless?...are there situations where u can wait?....at 3k/6k the stacks were dwindling and i figure ive gotta make a stand when i can?...agree or not, all input appreciated thanks....

There are no rights and wrongs in poker, except this hand, in which you are right to shove and folding would've been wrong.
play to win!

this is about as standard as they come.
and this Ali bloke is lolol bad @ poker. <9bb and makes a standard raise with QJ
I suggest you shove AK then ask Ali to play HU 4 rolls, cars, house deeds and anything else you can get on the table

Yes. You could find a fold here. You could also find another game to play. Scrabble maybe. Or that old operation game where the nose buzzes. I liked that game.

Super-standard shove. Anything else is horrible.

Shove 100% - you're playing to win this tournament, not creep into 9th for £15.
Always fun reading a hand history when you were actually there
