Foe has just come to the table, no stats of any meaning yet. Has lost first major pot when rr pre vs my AK and folding on a K high flop to a c/raise

Range to my mind is nut clubs, limped over-pair, set. Anything else?

Given this, its a call?

Is my "pot" three bet on the flop correct in your opinion?

Im amazed you didnt press fold, followed by the 'do you know checking is free' button, with this hand pre flop.

In short, get the money in, I think you are giving your opponent way too much credit. I dont think you see a set very often here at all, probably pair and a draw most of the time (which we like as you have a club in your hand) and a limped overpair now and then too.

And yeah, I dont mind you trying to pot all the money in on the flop, you have top two, but its a shit top two and there are so many bad turns that would make YOU fold scare off your action.

Oh and the guy doesnt even have a full stack, therefore, he is a donk, ship it.

Well, AT,Kt,Qt,Jt,9t of clubs make sense, but any random two clubs with a ten in their hand here.

I should have said combo draw, rather than pair and a draw, he could a 56 of clubs.

He is a non full stack that just completed the bb, I think he is poised to have a wide range of shit here and pair and draw makes sense given flop action, I guess he could easily have KQ, KJ of clubs etc etc.

Scrub 'pair and draw' and make it 'big draw' such as a combo draw, overcard flush draw etc.

Think you've played it correctly, and you have to call.

AT definitely a possibility plus a number of draws. 44 is the only likely hand you're behind with (given that you have T7 and tens would probs raise anyway)

I think you have to call - throw up when he shows 44 (as much as I keep thinking that flop min-raises from random $1/$2 players can't just be sets, they tend to just be sets when I call)

BTW, what kind of nitty table is this - the UTG limper gets no callers? Table selection FTW.

that's what I thought you meant but that would be a foul deck as tighty has the  .

holding that 1 card on this board makes it much more likely that oppo has us crushed here as it removes all pair plus draw hands that tend to 4b ai here

I still call, it's just it's a lot closer. with any other 10 in my hand it's an instacall as the draw is so much more likely, with the club I probs at least think about it
