The golden ticket is the re-entry into the final table of the winner of Tuesday's consolation tournament... two shots at it for the price of one.

We are back after that rather sudden ejection from the halls which meant sadly no access during the break even for the noble purpose of chip counting so we're just off to do it the hard way... back after a circuit.

Incidentally, just ran into Richard Gryko: as we came up he was running down having noticed as he sat back down that he'd left his sunglasses in the restaurant.  At least he's got his priorities right - the blinds are an hour and a half a level but who knows how long a nice pair of glasses is going to last lying on a table somewhere.

OK, we are back from a rushed meal at the Cafe de Paris (chirp chirp,....)

Mr Rutter? Can't see him.

And El Blondie, aka Mr Burns, who Updated for fully 10 minutes, seems to have disappeared too.

Right, let's get back up to speed.

The winner of the consilation tournament (i.e. me as long as tikay keeps his distance) re-joins the final table (6) of the main competition with 10 big blinds (a short stack)

And a fine job he did despite winding me up!

Harry Demetriou has just busted out in 77th spot. And he owes Phil Laak $20,000 for a Last Longer. (Fancy one of those Trace?).

Bengt Sonnert is absolutely MURDERING his table, he's up to 280k & it's Raise, Raise, Raise. Nobody can stop him, he can bust them all in one hand.

Meanwhile, on the same table, Phil Hellmuth is in mega-Tilt Mode. Snarling & growling & rising to bait from everyone. Players on adjacent tables are winding him up, passing dogs are winding him up, a ship's captain in the Med is winding him up. How on EARTH can such an experienced player be so mentaly fragile?

Out in 76th is Richard Redmond, whose button saw a flop with one other mid-position guy.  The flop was  ; Richard bet 10k, call.  The turn was the  Two Clubs, and he was check-raised all-in for the rest of his stack only to find  three clubs against him.  The river was the  just to rub it in, and he joins the quickly growing queue for the Consolation tournament.

Just thought I'd add that the battery in my camera has gone and it's one of those rechargable thingies with no charger in the country, so it's up to Tikay the photographer to bring you the visuals.

Who calls 10k with 36 suited? Sad

Well you can have pics, or Updates, but it's hard to do both. Up to you guys, I have dozens more pics to put up yet if you want em, & Jen can do the chip counts & hand jobbies.

 Meanwhile, at the tables......

The Feature "TV" Table is a real corker. Tony G, Phil Ivey, Matusow (in full flow), skalie, Nik Persuad (?), the funny little chappie from Gutshot who hangs around Scott Fischman, he can talk too.
