James,

Really sorry to read your post, as I really respect you and your family for your original decision to up sticks and start again, at the end of the day it is about you and your family's happiness and full respect to your lady for being honest enough to tell you of her 'real feelings' rather than keeping stum knowing how happy you are there.

I am convinced that whatever you decide to do you will SUCCEED, we have never met but you strike me as the type of person that will always do well.

I wish you and your family well and good luck for the future wherever you decide to 'lay your hat'

If it was me I think a month's holiday back in the UK at this time of year, reading the British papers every day would cure my homesickness and I'd realise everyone is only a flight away.

That's not for everyone though.  If family mean a lot then majority vote that no doubt took you away will have to bring you back again I think.

A happy marriage is one of the most elusive things in the world and when you have that you could be anywhere. Smiley

Some friends of ours emergrated, they too felt home sick so returned for a long holiday, once they had been here a few weeks they realised that it was not what thier memories held and could not wait to return to thier new home. Not been back to UK since.
