Congratulations to Craig for taking sensible action to prevent black-marketeering of tournament seats.
If you have to buy in in person and for yourself only, the problem is solved.
Hopefully others will follow

Some of my friends have paid by cheque for the tournament on the 25th, although it's strange system - in that they don't deposit it, you still have to pay in cash on the day and collect your cheque. I think that's right anyway! I popped up and paid in cash last weekend.
Will you be there Ironside?

I agree.
Seems a bit "last century" to me. I'd happily pay an exta 2 or 3% if I could register and pay online too. Can't be that difficult can it?

But Ironside is wrong this time. Sheffield is NOT in England. It's in Yorkshire. Or South Yorkshire if we have any pedants reading this......

as to the ' bit last century' comment we are at least 19th century now hoping to download updates for napoleons20thcentury.exe any day now soon as they upgrade this sinclair zx81 i'm having to use at the moment. I am looking into switch buy ins and alternatives but i cannot say how soon they would be in affect( if ever) If any of you have any more questions email me at owlertonpoker@hotmail.com not owlertonSpoker as mentioned in the news page. Oops, that dodgy e-address not been changed yet Craig? Sorry, I'll ask Rhow again today.
I can't make Wednesday, but will be up on Thursday & Friday, & am posting a cheque to you today. How many seats you sold?

YOU are gonna teach HIM......? Talk about the blind leading the blind.
Bit like the old paradox, "who clears the road for the snowplough driver to get to work".......
