Pab gets a few back, raising to 60k pre, getting a call, betting the flop (80k) with Jeff beating him in the pot.  They both check the turn, but when Jeff checks to Pab the final time on the two spades river, Pab puts in 300k.  After a long consider, Jeff makes the call with a Queen, but Pab's wins the pot.

They're still up to the same old tricks... Jeff Duvall makes his auto button raise, Pab reraises to 260k (the blinds at 15k/30k mean there's no messing).  Jeff calls unbelievably quickly ("What's faster than snap call?" asks the laconic James from AWOP).  After this, though it checks all the way down until the board reads two spades .  Pab turns his hand, and one gets the impression he thinks it's good - .  Nearly - Jeff has and has made a second pair of Eights to go with the Queens on the river.

I should mention that although all the blondeites are currently in love with the Pabster, all Jeff Duvall's supporters appear to be in this room. When he doubled up twice in a row, the roar in the cardroom was deafening.

Just thought I'd provide some journalistic balance, otherwise this might look later as though Jeff has no friends. Smiley
