This is it.  And it's a good'un.

Cagey pre and on the flop: .  Check-check.  Our attention turns to the sandwich on a side table.

Turn:   Jeff checks, Pab bets, Jeff moves in.  Our attention returns to the heads up game.

Pab calls.

Everyone stands up, riveted, as Jeff shows while Pab has turned the gutshot straight with his !

The river is the so that means...

Jeff Duval finishes second winning officially £96,600

While Paul 'Pab' Foltyn is the GUKPT GRAND FINAL CHAMPION winning £167,050

SEND!! PABRAMOVICH!! imo!

The presentation photos are coming.  Poor old Pab's been instantly cornered by the cameras though, so it might be a minute or so before you can revel in the glory of him getting the trophy.

Have to say that was an excellent heads up match and Jeff Duvall a great competitor.  Congratulations to both - that was an acceptably climactic end to the GUKPT year!

WP BOTH!

Quotes from the interviews:

Jeff Duvall:  "Second is better than third, that's for sure."
Pab:  "This is the furthest I've ever been in a live tournament."
