Thanks Rob, & Good Luck with the Anniversary Cup ME, (minus me, sigh), & the Side Events, which I'll be playing, & I'm especially looking forward to the Stud Event.

The "date clash" is a shame, but it happens, & I hope the three Big Events this weekend - Gala & Luton also hold Fessies - are all successful.

As to this.....

I notice there is some over/under betting going on, remember people can buy-in till 6.15pm (even though the comp starts at 2pm) as this is WSOP format and a player only loses 1SB and 1BB even if they buy in 4hrs 15 mins late, effectively meaning there is almost no penalty on the 20,000 chips starting stack, so you will have to wait till 6.15pm until the correct number of runners is official.

"My" comp is based on the total field size, so the outcome won't be known until 6.15pm, assuming DTD start on time. A reasonsable assumption, I'd say...... But it still closes at Noon.

TV work drying up?

Not yet, give it time. I'm just practising, for when it does. Plus, a rare attack of insomnia.

COMPETITION NOW CLOSED.

No more Edits! Kev will be watching.

Looks like I'm goosed - there are only 5 or 6 "untaken" numbers between 133 & 150, so I need to get lucky to avoid the £100. The extra £100 is safe - it has to be Old School.

The Final Total will be known shortly after 7.15pm, but as I'm working tonight, perhaps someone could Post it up on this Thread, thanks.

rough estimate of numbers for the stud event ?

Good question - it would be terrific if they could get a few dozen for this.

You thinking of coming across for it? - Stud is ideally suited to proper Old School players.

If I read the Website correctly, 164 have paid in as at 2.15pm.

I just rung the Club, & there are still folks buying in - & they have until 7.15 so to do!

Amazing.

I might get out of it yet.

But if I do get a skinner, I'll do another.

The Website is now saying 170 have paid in - if it gets one more, I have a run of 8 "blanks".

I'll be unlucky to lose now.

171 paid in now. I have only one "number" to dodge between 171 & 190.

Home & hosed?

I'll find a rollover Comp if I dodge the lone bullet.
