What's the best advice on asking for staking.

I want to play this weekend at DTD.  I have had a decent return on live buy in's over 200 up to 500. (1k being the biggest but no result),( except for packages that I won being 3x 10k ones) . But at the present time I can not afford to buy in the full amount. Should I look for backers like Tank and stake some my self or like Kin and go for what seems like the same deal? (300 game) Not used to staking so any return is welcome advice.

I was going to suggest that kins should be used as a template it was impressive proposal imo.So i would just be amending his if i was going to make a proposal

Obviously you're more likely to get staked if you sell 1:1 so only you can really decide what you think you should sell at.GL with it

Whats the best advice on asking for staking.

Make sure you are positive you don't want to be a vampire and would rather die first.

Seriously though, outline your full proposal, with a history of results, how much you want to sell and at what price etc... Check some previous staking posts for examples.

Fixed the formatting in your post Mo.

Go ahead and ask for the lot like I did.  If I can get staking, I'm bloody sure you can.

Stick up a Staking Thread Maureen, it can do no harm.

And if I don't get in quick enough, save some for me, please.

Where's your staking thread Maureen?

If I were you I'd just copy Dan's. The only money you have to lay out yourself then is for your expenses but that's ok because you'll have fun anyway.

I would think you'll sell easily enough. I wouldn't worry about how people regard your poker playing ability, the fact that you're well liked should get you to your target before the end of today.

I'll certainly take a slice.

GL and get it sorted quick.

Kin's proposal is an excellent template, follow that and you wont go far wrong.

Personnally I would always like to keep a % for myself, at least 25%, but thats purely my preference, and bankroll dependant of course.
