Now Tony Ross makes it 12k from the small blind. It has the same effect, and big blind Paul Newman passes.

Mr Marc Goodwin makes it 10k to go, and everyone does go -- away. He shows A-K.

Mr Goodwin makes it 10k to play again, and once more no-one wants to play with him. It's lonely at the top of the chip ladder.

This time Goodwin passes, concentrating instead on his nice massage. So instead, Ash Hussain raises to 10.2k. No-one wants to play with him either, though, and he picks up no more than the blinds and antes.

Miller raises to 14k from the small blind. Marc Goodwin couldn't care less and passes, and Miller shows him an ace, that he also doesn't care about. He's having a massage. Mmm, massage.

Some shots of our lucky finalists.

David Rudling looking stripey ands serious.

Derek Miller, looking laid back and pensive.

Essy Jahanpour looking more hopeful than a few minutes later when he will be knocked out!

This final has gone a bit sleepy-foldy tbh.

Where are my fireworks?

Plenty of aggression from whoever's on the small blind, though.

Marc Goodwin did it just now, and Ash Hussain folded; the next hand Ash did it, and Tony Ross folded. Ash showed aces that time though. Would have probably been funner if he's had the aces when Marc Goodwin raised his blind. Shame.

Fireworks!

Paul Newman gets a walk; shows K-J.

Fireworks? Even a sparkler would be ok.

Pab in what is now regarded as his trademark pose, hand resting on chin, waiting for Aces like a COBRA (but a nitty cobra!). We only mock him because we love him.

Go Pab!

Star of multiple hit films, Paul Newman, following drastic plastic surgery.

Poker superstar Ash Hussain and the less celebrated but also talented Anthony Ross.

And finally we have Marc Goodwin, stocking up on nourishment as he prepares to lay the smack down with his big stack...

Marc raises to an esoteric 11k, and it folds around to The Pabra in the big blind, who moves all in. A swift call, and they are on their backs.

Goodwin:
The Pabra:

Board:

Which means that Paul "The Poison Pabra" Foltyn has been slain, and busts out in 7th place winning £4,000 of internet money.

We are down to six.
